How to use multiple Gmail accounts in one Browser
How many times have you been annoyed with having to use different browsers to use different Gmail account,i have.I use about 3 email accounts one of them personal and the other two official so i usually check one email and then sign out and check the other, otherwise i have a Google chrome browser opened and a Mozilla ( Firefox) and check the other email address.
Google heard our cries and they have come up with this cool feature which no other email provider offers that i know off right now,you can use multiple email id’s in one single browser, and these are just a few simple steps .
-Log into Gmail
- ( If you don’t find My account ) Click on Settings
-Accounts and imports
-Google Account Settings
-Under personal settings > Click on multiple accounts ( check the box)
- Select all those options ( unless you select everything will this feature work )
- And then click save
- Now on top where you find you email address like below
- Click the drop down and sign in with your other Gmail account
-Voila your done
- You can switch back to your default email and keep switching or sign out and sign in to another .
Check out this simple 4 minute video that i created to make things easier, the voice is pretty low but just follow the steps.Any questions please post below…
P.S: Not all Google services support multiple account sign-in yet. For the services that don’t support it (like Blogger and Picasa Web Albums), you’ll be defaulted to the first account you signed in with during that browser session. So if you click a link from Gmail to Blogger, for example, you’ll be logged into Blogger with the first account you signed in with, even if you clicked the link to Blogger from your second Gmail account. They are still working on it and this feature only works on desktop browsers not on mobile phones .
